About TipidPresyo

TipidPresyo started at home, not in a boardroom. My family's group chat is basically a 24/7 online shopping thread — someone forwarding a "97% off" screenshot, a cousin asking if a ₱150 blender is actually any good, a tita comparing which seller has the real Maybelline versus the copy. Everyone I know shops online, and almost everyone has gotten burned at least once by a listing that looked nothing like what showed up. I built this site to answer the question my own family kept asking me: "Alin dito totoo?"

Too many online listings look identical — same stock photos, same inflated "original price," no way to tell if the 4.9-star rating actually means anything. So TipidPresyo tracks real prices across a large catalog of online finds, and goes deeper on a smaller set of picks we buy and use ourselves.

Two kinds of picks on this site

Anything tagged In-depth review is a product we bought and actually used — the pros, cons and verdict are our own. Everything else is a deal card: the price, discount, rating and sales volume shown are pulled directly from the seller's own listing and refreshed regularly, but we have not personally tested that specific item. We label the two differently on purpose so you always know which is which.

How we choose what to feature

Deal cards are pulled in from products with a track record of sales and ratings on the platforms we track. In-depth reviews get an extra layer: we verify claims (capacity, material, ingredient concentration) against the listing and, where possible, the manufacturer, before we buy.

How we make money
